If you find yourself in a place where it’s hard for you to find the time or strength to read the bible and pray, don’t give in. Thats exactly what the enemy wants you to do, but he shall not win.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”
2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV
Sometimes the things we need most in life seems to be so out of reach. This is why we should not rely on our own strength, instead we should lift up our eyes to the hills from which cometh our help. It may not seem to work at first, which is why it is crucial to keep the faith.
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
Psalms 121:1-2 KJV
Those moments where you have been fasting, praying, and/or reading the bible seems to be when the enemy loves to attack the most. Sometimes the attacks may start with family, friends, loved ones, or even outsiders who may hurt or offend you. This should only stand as proof that you must be doing something right and making someone (The Devil) mad.
“When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.”
Psalms 69:10-12 KJV
Its ok to feel a little down sometimes, as we must know, there is a time for everything. Sometimes the season we find ourselves in feels like there’s no coming out. Sometimes it comes when we are doing everything right, and other times it comes when we’ve made a wrong decision in life. Either way our Heavenly father will never leave us or forsake us. Just remember though, no matter how down we are we still have to remain constantly pressing forward drawing nigh to GOD. If we repent, remain faithful, and walk in truth, there is no good thing our Master will withhold from us.
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”
Psalms 84:11 KJV
